Estate Sales by Connie provides a provides a free consultation to assess if there is enough contents to hold an estate sale. We frequently start with a phone consultation and then schedule a free on-site assestment. The key factor is the total value of sellable items, not just the quantity.

How do you determine pricing?

We research comparable sales and local demand for fair market values and price accordingly. Our goal is to maximize your proceeds.

What security measures are in place for valuable items?

We take security very seriously and take extra precautions for high-value items, including dedicated staff members for constant observation of jewelry, collectibles, art and other small valuables. We use locked cases when necessary. We also control the amount of people in the home at any one time.

How long does the process take?

Depending on the size of the estate and home, we typically require a week or more for sorting, staging, research, photography, pricing, advertising and marketing. We can expedite the process if needed aiming to get the sale advertised online and send out our email blasts to our 1000’s of subscribers as soon as possible. 

Where do you conduct sales in San Diego?

How much do you charge?

Estate Sales by Connie charges a percentage of the gross sales which varies based on the quantity and value of items. That’s all. We do not charge for set-up, staging, labor or advertising and there are no hidden fees. Payment is made as soon as credit card purchases clear, usually within 3 business days.

What happens to items that do not sell?

We recommend environmentaly concious clean-out companies that have completed many jobs for our clients. They are reliable and reasonably priced. This service is an addtional cost to you, deteremined after the sale. These companies help keep items out of our landfills by donating useable items to charities. We can assist with the clean-out to insure you to “broom swept”.

Are you a licensed and insured?

Yes, Estate Sales by Connie Inc is licensed and insured. 

Do you offer any additional services?

Yes, we provide written fair market value appraisals for entire estates or individual items. We work with estate Trustees and families that do not want to sell but want an equitable distribution of assetts.
